D&C Days could not exist without the expertise, commitment, drive, financial contribution and strategic insight of its partners. Its partners strive to provide a safe and stimulating space (whether in-person or online) where participants can stretch themselves, feel comfortable to think outside the box, foster new relationships, incubate ideas, and ultimately reflect and commit to taking shared next steps for accelerating progress towards ensuring rapid, climate-smart and inclusive development.
In D&C Days past we have worked in partnership with government agencies, private sector, research institutes, development organisations and many more individuals from negotiators, policy-makers, scientists, donors, development practitioners, and high-level participants such as a former President of Ireland, the Governor of the Central Bank of Bangladesh, the Chairman of the Green Climate Fund, the Assistant Secretary General on Climate Change, UNDP’s Administrator, to shape an important contribution to understanding climate resilience.

IIED is an international policy and research organisation working with partners globally to build a fairer, more sustainable world. Together, we challenge the destructive economic models, unjust power dynamics, entrenched mindsets and protectionist laws that perpetuate poverty, suppress rights and hinder progress towards a thriving world. We explore solutions to complex economic, social and environmental crises, using research, action and influencing to tackle the root causes of climate change, nature loss and inequality.

The Climate Centre focuses primarily on providing guidance and tools to National Societies and their partners, and fostering the exchange of experience, training and technical back-up for Red Cross Red Crescent volunteers, delegates and managers specializing in the management of disaster risk and health. In the international arena we facilitate access to climate-related funding and advocate for support to the most vulnerable people in debates on climate policy.

DanChurchAid supports the poorest in the world in their struggle for a dignified life and helps people in need. We provide emergency relief in disaster-stricken areas and long-term assistance in the poor regions to create a more equitable and sustainable world. Our work derives from Christian values. We show active compassion, share with the world’s poorest, and help those in need. We act courageously and proactively when injustices are committed against people, and when human rights are violated.

The Global Resilience Partnership advances resilience through identifying and scaling on the ground innovation, generating and sharing knowledge, and shaping policy. Resilience underpins sustainable development in an increasingly unpredictable world. We envisage an inclusive world in harmony with nature, that is better prepared to cope with shocks, adapt to change, and transform – all within planetary boundaries. GRP is made up of diverse organisations that have joined forces to work together towards this vision.

D&C Days is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands the government of the Netherlands via the Generating Ambition for Locally-led Adaptation (GALLA) programme.

Wellcome is a global charitable foundation. Since our formation, we have supported breakthroughs in scientific discoveries and advocated for policies to improve health for everyone. Wellcome supports science to solve the urgent health challenges facing everyone. As one of our four programmes of work we’re generating research to shape the policies and identify the practical solutions that protect people's health from climate change.
